Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Yoonjoo will attend and deliver congratulatory remarks at the disbanding ceremony of the third Korea-China Youth Group for Future Friendship Promotion on Friday, September 5.

The ceremony will bring together about 30 young adults from Korea and China, who carried out various activities over the past four months as members of the group, including visits to historical and cultural sites of the two countries and production of online promotional contents, in a bid to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.

In his congratulatory remarks, Vice Minister Park will stress that exchanges between young generations of Korea and China serve as a seed to the friendship and a key driver for the development of the relationship between the two countries. He will then encourage the members of the Youth Group for Future Friendship Promotion to continue their role as a bridge between the two countries.
